WESLY ANTHONY CLERGÉ, described as “simply stupendous” (Chicagoland Musical Theater), is establishing himself as a powerful contemporary artist across numerous industries. Originally a native of the Big Apple, Wesly is a classically trained singer who graduated from the Crane School of Music. Performing in a combination of musical theatre, opera, and tv/film, he has portrayed various roles in Europe and throughout the United States of America. Some of his most notable credits include works such as The Phantom of the Opera, In the Heights, Disney’s Beauty and the Beast, Sweeney Todd, Disney’s The Little Mermaid, Ragtime, and Rent, as well as operatic roles in Tosca, Don Giovanni, Gianni Schicchi, Die Fledermaus, Pagliacci, and Les Contes D’Hoffman. As an actor, singer, and pianist, Wesly prides himself on being a versatile artist. He is thrilled to join this cast of superstars in the Children of Eden. Through his performances, Wesly hopes to inspire his community and the next generation of artists to connect, create and share stories in a collaborative effort.
